English Paper Piecing – Yellow Creek Quilt Designs Workshop

Our guild – Athens Dixie Stitchers hosted Jill and Vicki from Yellow Creek Designs on Friday and of course they presented a great program on Thursday at our regular guild meeting.

But the part I like best when Jill took time to give us a brief English piecing tutorial. I looked at those tiny hexagons and said now way they look like confetti… Jill said “No it is like eating peanuts you can’t stop at just one.” She was oh so right and here I am make hexes once again. Thanks Jill it was the push I needed. I am so glad to be back at my “English Paper Piecing.”
Here is a link to a video on their website that can help you get started…

About Daily Quilter

Fabric has been one of my passions for most of my life. I don't remember the first time my grandmother gave me a piece of material and I made my first doll dress. As a website designer I have been building and sharing information on the internet for quite a few years. After much thought and some work I have put together an online quilting resource that I hope all of my readers will enjoy.
