Free Motion Quilting Adventure

I have decided to explore the world of Free Motion Quilting from here on to be referred to as fmq. I tried this several years ago with no success but this time I am determined. I have been working at it for about six months now and to my surprise it isn’t that hard as long as you never forget the key word – “Practice”….

No practice no success!! The internet is loaded with some of the most amazing videos to get you started. I found the best place to start was with – Leah Day. Thank you Leah! She offers instruction on her website as well as more than one great Craftsy classes. A word about Craftsy – they are one of the best resources for learning I have found.

So now I am going to just post some of my sample practice pieces and more later.

About Daily Quilter

Fabric has been one of my passions for most of my life. I don't remember the first time my grandmother gave me a piece of material and I made my first doll dress. As a website designer I have been building and sharing information on the internet for quite a few years. After much thought and some work I have put together an online quilting resource that I hope all of my readers will enjoy.
