As you have most likely figured out I am a great English paper piecing fan. I guess I like it because I have always loved scraps. I love scraps no matter what size they are – I guess you could say there is never a scrap that is to small to use for something.

I have done English paper piecing using all sizes and shapes. I know most people are familiar with the hexies but did you know they come in all sizes. I have been using the 1/4″ lately and find them fascinating – of course the scrap is never to small – I think I already said that. I just ran across a site by Cintia of My Poppet and she has some great items. She also has tutorials that are wonderfully documented and did I say FREE.

So if you haven’t tried your hand at hexies before, or English paper piecing here is a good project to start. This is a beautiful table runner and the instructions are complete from start to finish so take a few minutes follow the link and learn how Cintia does it!!

About Daily Quilter

Fabric has been one of my passions for most of my life. I don't remember the first time my grandmother gave me a piece of material and I made my first doll dress. As a website designer I have been building and sharing information on the internet for quite a few years. After much thought and some work I have put together an online quilting resource that I hope all of my readers will enjoy.
