Mini Quilt Sun Bonnet Sue Wall Hanging

Yesterday was a funny day. All of the schools were closed and we were told “snow” was on the horizon. Guess what no snow just a very cold day.

But that gave me the opportunity to stay in my quilt room all day. I decided to try something new a – Mini Quilt – Wall Hanging – or as I saw someone on Etsy call it “Wall Hugger” clever right.

This charming little mini quilt will make you smile. This is all done using Free Motion Quilting then colored with water pencils (color will not wash out). Hanging measures 9.5″ x 11.5″ and is quilted three layers. The edges are pinked with a rotary cutter.

I love it. I am posting it on Esty for sale. You can either hang it with a hanger or it will fit in a 8″ x 10″ frame. If you decide to frame it edges will need to be trimmed but you will have plenty of the bright flowered fabric left after framing.

About Daily Quilter

Fabric has been one of my passions for most of my life. I don't remember the first time my grandmother gave me a piece of material and I made my first doll dress. As a website designer I have been building and sharing information on the internet for quite a few years. After much thought and some work I have put together an online quilting resource that I hope all of my readers will enjoy.
